    Blind Spiny Eel (Mastacembelus brichardi)

    Juz got this fellow back.
    Any idea what is it?
    Gymnotus carapo?
    or a different family like Mormyridae

    It's a blind spiny eel (Mastacembelus brichardi). Very interesting pick up indeed.

    After some google search, I realized this is a Congo fish. Whats the size ? Feeding yet ?

    size at ard 3inch or so.
    trying to let it take frozen bloodworm. no successful attempt as of yet.
    Any other recomendation?
    There isn't much info abt this species and it look so vunerable and delicate.
    Hope it will start eating soon.

    Got mine fm C328 this afternoon.





    But still no luck with the feeding.
